Twelve unknown individuals find themselves in a clearing. They are unaware of their location or how they arrived there. They have no idea they have been selected for a particular reason. Unbeknownst to them, a sinister online conspiracy is at play.
Heartless elites convene in a secluded area to hunt people for entertainment. However, their scheme takes an unexpected turn when one of the targets, Crystal, begins to fight back against her attackers. Twelve strangers wake up in a forested area, gagged and confused about their situation. They discover a master key to remove the gags and find a crate with a dressed pig and weapons.
Thinking they need the weapons to survive, they arm themselves but soon face attacks from a distance, leading to some deaths. Many believe they are part of "Manorgate," a viral story about elite hunters in Vermont who hunt humans for fun.
Some manage to escape the supposed game area but must figure out who is an ally and who is a threat outside. One individual, possibly an outsider among the twelve, may have the best chance of survival by accurately assessing their circumstances rather than fitting them into the Manorgate narrative. This person might uncover the truth that they were deliberately chosen for this ordeal.
